St. Louis Blues Retire Chris Pronger Number

     The St. Louis Blues retired number 44 jersey of defensive Chris Pronger on Monday night. He played for the Blues from 1995-96 until 2003-04. He participated in the National Hockey League for 18 seasons. 

     Pronger recently worked in the Florida Panthers organization. He was named the senior advisor to the president of hockey operations in June 2017. Pronger was later elevated to senior vice president of hockey operations. He left the club in July 2020.
