Former Florida Marlins pitcher Jim Corsi has passed away at the age of 60. He was selected in the 1992 Expansion Draft by the Marlins from the Oakland A's. He compiled a 0-2 record with a 6.64 earned run average in 15 relief appearances during the Marlins inaugural season in 1993.
Corsi entered Major League Baseball with the Oakland A's in 1988. He helped that franchise win two straight American League champions from 1988 to 1989 and a World Series title in 1989.
