The National Hockey League named Florida Panthers goalie Spencer Knight as the Rookie of the Month for April over the weekend. He is the second Florida player to receive the honor. Anton Lundell was given the Rook of the Month award in January.
Knight had a 2.16 goals-against-average and a .925 save percentage during the month of April. He finished with a 19-9-3 record with a .908 save percentage and a 2.79 goals-against-average in 32 games during the 2021-22 regular season.
