Lightning Claim Rudolfs Balcers

     The Tampa Bay Lightning have claimed left wing Rudolfs Balcers off waivers from the Florida Panthers. He signed as a free agent with Florida on July 14.

     Balcers compiled two goals and two assists with the Panthers in 14 games this season. He previously played two seasons with the Ottawa Senators and the San Jose Sharks prior to his arrival in Florida.
