Marlins Lose Sean Guenther

     The Detroit Tigers have claimed pitcher Sean Guenther off waivers from the Miami Marlins. He was on the Marlins 60-day injured list. 

     Guenther did not see any action in the majors this past season because he had Tommy John surgery in April. He had a 0-1 record and 9.30 earned run average in 14 relief appearances with the Marlins in 2021.
