Miami Central Takes Miami Northwestern

     The Miami Central Rockets got by the Miami Northwestern Bulls 34-30 in a Class 2M regional semifinal game at Traz Powell Stadium on Friday night. The Rockets will take on the Miami Norland Vikings next week in a regional final matchup. 

     Miami Northwestern(6-5) raced out to a 21-7 during the first quarter of play. Miami Central(11-0) answered back with 14 points in the second quarter and tied it 21-21 by halftime. Both teams exchanged the lead twice and the Bulls were up 30-28 at the end of three quarters. The Rockets scored a three-yard touchdown with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter and led 34-30.
