Cubs Ink Brad Boxberger

     The Chicago Cubs have signed former Miami Marlins relief pitcher Brad Boxberger to a contract. It is a one-year deal worth $2 million. 

     Boxberger was with the Marlins for one season in 2020 and helped the club reach the postseason for the first time since 2003. He had a 1-0 record and a 3.00 earned run average over 23 games with Miami during the shortened season.
