Jean Segura Signing With Marlins

     The Miami Marlins are about to sign infielder Jean Segura. It is expected to be a two-year contract worth $15 million. There is a $10 million team option and $2 million buyout in 2025. 

     Segura spent the last four seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies. He helped the club get to the postseason for the first time since 2011 and reach the World Series for the first time since 2009. Segura had 43 home runs, 176 runs batted in and a .281 batting average in 427 games during his four seasons with the Phillies.
