Former Miami Marlins pitcher Nick Neidert will be signing a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs. He has two opt-out clauses on his contract for next year.
Neidert was with the Miami Marlins from 2020 until 2022. He had a 1-3 record with a 4.59 earned run average during 13 games for the last three seasons.
