Jose Urena Joins Nationals

     Former Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Urena has signed a minor league contract with the Washington Nationals. He was with the Colorado Rockies for the past two seasons and was released by them on April 27. 

     Urena once played with the Miami Marlins from 2015 until 2020. He ended up with a 32-46 record with a 4.60 earned run average in 142 games. Urena helped the Marlins reach the postseason in 2020 for the first time in 17 years.
