Marlins Clinch Playoff Spot

     The Miami Marlins clinched a National League postseason spot for the first time in four seasons with a 7-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday at PNC Park. It is still unknown who they will face in the first round. 

     The Marlins clinched a postseason position for just the fourth time in their 30-year franchise history and for their third occasion in a 162-game full regular season. Miami(84-76) previously appeared during the National League Playoffs in 1997, 2003 and 2020.
