Jeff Rimer Retirement Ceremony

     Columbus Blue Jackets television play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer had his retirement ceremony on Saturday night. He was honored prior to the Blue Jackets home game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

     Rimer was the first television play-by-play announcer of the Florida Panthers. He held the post from 1993-94 until 2003-04. Rimer did have a stint as the television voice of the Washington Capitals prior to his arrival in South Florida.
