Miami Falls To 12th Largest Radio Market

     Nielsen released their new rankings for the top 246 radio markets based on population in the United States. The information was issued based on the start of 2024 fall ratings. 

     Miami fell from 11th place to 12th place with X,XXX,XXX people that are 12+ in age. They exchanged spots with Seattle again. It happened at the beginning of the 2024 spring ratings. 

     Looking at prior history movements, Miami leaped over Detroit for the 11th largest radio market back in the fall of 2012. Miami dropped behind Seattle to become the 12th largest radio market in the spring of 2022.
