Dade County finished up with 23 teams for the football playoffs. High schools include Miami Northwestern, Columbus, Miami Norland, Miami Palmetto, Miami Jackson, Doral Academy, Mater Academy, North Miami, Miami Edison, Booker T. Washington, Carol City, Hialeah, North Miami Beach, Homestead, South Dade, Southridge. Gulliver Prep, Monsignor Pace, Ransom Everglades, Goleman, Immaculata-La Salle, Archbishop Carroll, Palmer Trinity and Tru North Academy. The Florida Keys area had one high school with Key West.
Broward County is represented by 19 high schools. They consist of St. Thomas Aquinas, Chaminade-Madonna, American Heritage, Cardinal Gibbons, Blanche Ely, Coconut Creek, Dillard, Plantation, Miramar, Monarch, Western, Piper, Flanagan, South Broward, West Broward, Somerset Academy, Calvary Christian Academy, Archbishop McCarthy and Somerset Academy Key.
Palm Beach County ended up with 15 teams in the postseason. South Palm Beach County had Atlantic, West Boca Raton, Santaluces, Spanish River, Boca Raton, St. Andrew's and St. John Paul II. Central Palm Beach County included Palm Beach Central, Cardinal Newman, Glades Central, Pahokee, The King's Academy and Royal Palm Beach. Jupiter and Benjamin were the only teams from North Palm Beach County.
St/ Lucie County chalked up three teams with Treasure Coast, Fort Pierce Central and John Carroll Catholic. Martin County only was represented by Jensen Beach. The only squad from Indian River County was Vero Beach.
