The Toronto Raptors passed by the Miami Heat 106-96 at Kaseya Center on Monday night. The Heat, who played their first contest in six days, extended their losing streak to five games.
Toronto(16-11) had a slight 23-22 lead in a low-scoring first quarter. Miami(14-12) responded to lead 52-46 at halftime.
The Heat remained in front 77-74 at the conclusion of the third quarter. The Raptors commanded the fourth quarter outscoring their opponent 32-19.
Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell both finished with a club-high 20 points each in the loss. Davion Mitchell added 12 points for Miami.
Brandon Ingram ended up with a game-high 28 points for Toronto. Scottie Barnes had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
