Yankees Add Christian Bethancourt

     The New York Yankees have agreed to pick up catcher Christian Bethancourt. It is a minor league contract between him and the club. 

     Bethancourt played 38 contests with the Miami Marlins during the 2024 season. He compiled two home runs, seven runs batted in and a .159 batting average.
