Marlins Overcomes Nationals

     The Miami Marlins came back on the Washington Nationals 3-2 in 10 innings at loanDepot park on Friday night. The Marlins began a six-game homestand and snapped a three-game losing streak. The Nationals have lost 16 of their last 22 contests. 
     Washington(61-69) was ahead 1-0 in the top of the sixth. Keibert Ruiz lifted a solo home run to right field on a 0-1 pitch for his eighth homer of the 2026 campaign. 
     Miami(65-64) leaped to a 2-1 advantage during the bottom of the eighth. Javier Sanoja singled into right field for Jakob Marsee to score. Three batters later, Otto Lopez knocked in Sanoja with a base hit through the right side.
     The Nationals were down to their final strike in the ninth inning and tied it up 2-2. Daylen Lile drove in Jacob Young on a single into left field. 
     The Marlins won the game during the bottom of the 10th. Sanoja singled up the middle and Agustin Ramirez raced home
