The Forest Hill Falcons will host the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats in a District 13-7A game on Friday night. Both schools are currently longshots to get into the FHSAA playoffs.
Royal Palm Beach(4-2, 2-2) are in the middle of the pack in their district. The Wildcats have been unable to gain momentum over the last four weeks. They were upset on the road by the West Boca Raton Bulls 20-6, easily beat the Lake Worth Trojans 41-7 in a home game, lost to the visiting Dwyer Panthers 40-14 and victorious over the Atlantic Eagles 30-12 when they were away last week.
The Wildcats offense will run the ball most of the time and rarely pass. Quarterback Toddy Centeio will be the point man as he will implement the option play on most occasions. He will pitch to several running backs which includes Demarcus Holloway, Shamar Jackson, Jimmy Moreland and Charles Perry.
Forest Hill(2-4, 1-3) have already been eliminated from postseason contention. The Falcons met the top contenders in the district and lost. They were defeated by the West Boca Raton Bulls 34-0 three weeks ago and fell last week on the road to the Dwyer Panthers 49-0. Sandwiched between both games was a 48-28 victory over Lake Worth for their only district win.
Falcons quarterback Shannon Patrick will lead their offense and hand the ball off to running back Calvary Pugh. Wide receiver Antonio Burns plans to get open down the field.
