Major League Baseball announced the voting results of all their franchises for the top four players in the history of every club. The ceremony was done prior to the 86th annual All-Star Game held at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Tuesday night.
The players selected for the Marlins franchise were outfielder Jeff Conine, outfielder Gary Sheffield, third baseman Mike Lowell and outfielder Giancarlo Stanton. It was no surprise about Conine, Sheffield and Lowell since they all were popular players during their time with the Marlins plus all of them were announced to the Florida Marlins all-time team at the end of the 2011 season. Stanton has been on the Miami Marlins roster since June 2010.
