Miami Sports Radio 56O WQAM-AM stood alone for the third consecutive month and was the highest rated sports format radio station in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale region. It was a month that the margin between all three competitors shrunk.
WQAM matched an accomplishment that they achieved in the same monthly periods from September 2012 until November 2012 when they finished in first place by themselves. The station however dropped from a 1.3 to a 1.2 in November with the disappointment of the University of Miami Hurricanes football season.
790 The Ticket WAXY-AM did see a bump up in their ratings from a 0.8 to a 0.9 as they closed the gap on the market leader. The return of the NBA season with Miami Heat radio broadcasts has definitely helped along with another month of the audience adjustment to the new program lineup.
Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM remained flat for the month of November with a 0.4 rating. They still kept their highest numbers in a year for a second straight month due to their longtime stable programming and no broadcasts of Miami Marlins games.
