The Miami Heat pounded the Atlanta Hawks 116-93 on Wednesday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat extended their winning streak to nine consecutive games and have won seven straight home games.
Atlanta(28-21) started the contest on a 7-2 spurt, however Miami(20-30) bounced back with nine unanswered points and led 29-22 after the first quarter. The Heat never surrendered the lead for the rest of the game. They were up 62-57 at halftime and 94-81 after three quarters. Goran Dragic had a team-high 27 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
