The Miami Heat defeated the Brooklyn Nets 101-89 on Saturday night at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City. Miami played in just their third game in the last eight days.
Brooklyn(10-15) had a 26-24 edge after one quarter and were up 53-50 at halftime. Miami(12-13) overcome them and had a 75-72 lead after three quarters. The Heat pulled away on a 14-4 run as they outscored the Nets 26-17 in the final quarter.
Goran Dragic had a game-high 20 points along with seven rebounds and Justice Winslow got 15 points. Tyler Johnson poured in 20 points while James Johnson added 17 points and seven rebounds.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Nets with 18 points and nine rebounds while Spencer Dinwiddie dropped 15 points.
