The Miami Marlins traded left fielder Marcell Ozuna to the St. Louis Cardinals for outfielder Magneuris Sierra and three other players on Wednesday. The Marlins have dealt Giancarlo Stanton, Dee Gordon and Ozuna in the past seven days and consisted of almost half of their 2017 starting lineup.
Ozuna compiled his best numbers from an offensive standpoint in 2017 as he hit 37 home runs, 124 runs batted in, 93 runs scored and 191 base hits for the Marlins. He also had a .312 batting average, .376 on-base percentage, .548 slugging percentage and a .924 OPS for the Fish. Ozuna just completed his fifth season with Miami and was named a National League All-Star for the last two seasons.
