The Miami Heat lost to the Houston Rockets 109-101 at American Airlines Arena. The Heat were defeated by the Rockets in Houston back on January 22. Miami now have a five-game losing streak and fallen in seven of their last nine contests. The Rockets came into South Florida with the second best record in the NBA.
Houston(40-13) rolled out to a 35-24 lead after one quarter and were up 61-57 at halftime. Miami(29-26) trailed 83-80 after three and fell behind in the final quarter.
James Harden had a game-high 41 points with six assists for the Rockets while Chris Paul added 24 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Clint Capela contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. Miami get big scoring from Goran Dragic and Josh Richarston who both had 30 points each. Hassan Whiteside chalked up a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds.
