The Miami Heat went into Portland and lost to the Trail Blazers 115-99 on Monday night at Moda Center. It was the first game of a three-game road trip to the west coast. Portland is currently third in the Western Conference standings.
Portland(41-26) exploded out to a 34-25 lead after one quarter and maintained a 59-47 advantage at halftime. Miami(36-32) was down 88-72 after the third quarter and could not gain any traction in the second half.
The Heat were led by Goran Dragic with 23 points and Tyler Johnson with 17 points. Justise Winslow carried a double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds. Damian Lillard had a game-high 32 points and 10 assists for the Trail Blazers. Jusuf Nurkic compiled a double-double with 27 points and 16 rebounds.
