The Miami Marlins played their final home game of the 2018 season and topped the Cincinnati Reds 6-0 at Marlins Park on Sunday. The Marlins extended their winning streak to three games.
In the third inning, Miami(62-93) compiled four runs. Lewis Brinson got an infield single for Starlin Castro to reach home. Chad Wallach later homered to left field on a 2-1 pitch which brought in Brian Anderson and Brinson.
Cincinnati(66-91) surrendered two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Anderson crossed the plate on a wild pitch. Magneuris Sierra eventually singled in Wallach on a base hit into right field.
