The Miami Heat fell to the Philadelphia 76ers 124-114 on Monday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat finished off a four-game home stand. Their next game is at Brooklyn on Wednesday.
Philadelphia(9-6) led 32-26 after one quarter and were barely up 64-62 by halftime. Miami(5-8) stayed behind 96-90 after three quarters and never could get in front during the fourth.
Joel Embiid had a game-high 35 points and 17 rebounds for the Sixers. J.J. Redick added 25 points and Ben Simmons had 13 points. Goran Dragic put in 22 points while Josh Richardson dropped 17 points for the Heat. Hassan Whiteside compiled a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
