The Green Bay Packers mangled the Miami Dolphins 31-12 at Lambeau Field on Sunday. The Dolphns have their bye next week and will not play until November 25 at Indianapolis.
In the first quarter, Green Bay(4-4-1) struck first. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw a seven-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Davante Adams at 6:07. The Fins made it 7-3 on a 37-yard field goal by Jason Sanders with 1:18 left.
The Packers scored again when running back Aaron Jones rushed up the middle from two yards out at the 14:53 mark of the second quarter. Miami (5-5) got field goals by Sanders from 25 yards at 10:29 and 47 yards at 2:49. Sanders booted a 40-yard field goal for the Fins early in the third quarter at the 11:43 mark.
Green Bay would score on their two possession of the second half. Jones raced to the right and scored from 10 yards away with 9:33 to go in the third. Adams later caught a 25-yard TD pass from Rodgers with 7:25 remaining and increased the gap to 28-12. Mason Crosby put the only points up on the scoreboard during the fourth quarter at 8:53 on a 38-yard field goal.
