The Atlanta Hawks barely got by the Miami Heat 115-113 at American Airlines Arena on Tuesday night. The Heat have lost eight of their last 10 games. The Hawks snapped a seven-game road losing streak.
Miami(7-13) scooted out to a 38-35 lead after one quarter. Atlanta(5-16) answered back and outscored the Heat 33-14 in the second and moved ahead 68-52 by halftime. The Heat trailed 100-86 after three quarters then mounted a comeback, however they fell short in the end by two points.
Josh Richardson popped in a game-high 22 points for Miami. Dwyane Wade added 18 points while Wayne Ellington had 15 points. Taurean Prince put in a team-high 18 points for Atlanta.
