The Atlanta Hawks escaped the Miami Heat 123-118 on Saturday night. The Heat fell in their third straight game and fourth time in the last six contests.
Atlanta(3-6) exploded ahead 41-31 after one quarter and were up 74-68 at halftime. Miami(3-5) still trailed 102-93 after the third quarter and barely made a dent in the deficit during the fourth.
Josh Richardson had a game-high 32 points for the Heat while Dwyane Wade added 19 points. Justise Winslow posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Trae Young had a team-high 24 points along with 15 assists for the Hawks as he compiled a double-double.
