The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Miami Heat 118-102 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. The Thunder have the third-best record in the Western Conference.
Oklahoma City(33-18) went out to a 31-24 lead through one quarter and led 72-53 at halftime. Miami(24-26) stayed with them in the second half and barely cut the deficit.
Paul George knocked down a game-high 43 points for the Thunder. Russell Westbrook had a triple-double with 14 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds. The Heat were led by Hassan Whiteside with 12 points along with 15 rebounds. Josh Richardson put up a team-high 18 points.
