The Miami Heat fell to the San Antonio Spurs 107-102 at AT&T Center on Sunday. The Heat now return home after playing five of their last six games on the road. It was the second time in five days that both clubs faced each other.
Miami(29-13) had a 31-28 advantage after one quarter. It disappeared by halftime as San Antonio(18-23) moved ahead 60-54. The Heat were still behind 86-84 at the end of the third quarter and were outscored 21-18 in the final frame.
Bam Adebayo had a double-double for Miami with game-highs of 21 points and 15 rebounds. Goran Dragic dropped in 19 points, Kendrick Nunn downed 18 points and Jimmy Butler scored 16 points. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 21 points while DeMar DeRozan was short of a triple-double with 20 points, nine assists and nine rebounds.
