The Cleveland Cavaliers upset the Miami Heat 125-119 in overtime on Monday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.The Heat, who blew a 19-point lead in the fourth, were fourth in the Eastern Conference while the Cavaliers were in last place entering the game.
Miami(36-21) blasted out to a 29-21 lead after one quarter and stayed ahead 68-56 by halftime. Cleveland(16-41) remained down 99-80, however they outscored the Heat 31-12 during the fourth quarter and put the contest into overtime. The Cavs outpaced Miami 14-8 in overtime for the victory.
Bam Adebayo led the way for Miami as he fell short of a triple-double with 22 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. Goran Dragic contributed 22 points and Kendrick Nunn dropped in 21 points. Kevin Porter Jr. had a game-high 30 points for the Cavaliers while Kevin Love added a double-double of 17 points along with 14 rebounds.
