The Florida High School Athletic Association held a five-hour meeting concerning the upcoming fall sports schedule involving football and volleyball. They decided that will be no adjustments for schools throughout the state of Florida and that football training camps can begin on July 27 as originally scheduled.
The coronavirus pandemic had an effect on student learning along with the lack of high school athletics. The rest of the FHSAA spring sports season was scrapped and the spring football games set for May were also eliminated.
