The Miami Heat has shut down their practice facility at American Airlines Arena for the second time. Another Heat player has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. Derrick Jones Jr. was found to have a positive test for the illness last week and the practice facility was off limits from June 26 to June 28.
The Heat will likely resume practices when they travel up to Orlando on July 8. The restart of the NBA regular season will be on July 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista and last until August 14. Miami will play in eight games to complete the regular season.
