The Miami Marlins have acquired catcher Jacob Stallings from the Pittsburgh Pirates for pitcher Zach Thompson, pitcher Kyle Nicolas and outfielder Connor Scott. Stallings was the National League Gold Glove Award winner for the first time with the Bucs in 2021.
Stallings has played his entire major league career of eight seasons with the Pirates. He set career-highs with eight home runs and 53 runs batted in during 112 contests last season.
