Marlins Get Joey Wendle

     The Tampa Bay Rays have traded infielder Joey Wendle to the Miami Marlins for outfielder Kameron Misner. He is expected to play at second base, shortstop and third base for the Fish. 

     Wendle has player six seasons in the majors, which included the last four years with the Rays. He helped Tampa Bay to an American League championship in 2020. Wendle had 11 home runs, 54 runs batted in and a .265 batting average last season.
