Former Florida Panthers defenseman Keith Yandle set the National Hockey League record for most consecutive regular season games played. He participated in his 965th consecutive contest on Tuesday night for the Philadelphia Flyers at the New York Islanders. He passed Doug Jarvis for first all-time in NHL history.
Yandle was with the Florida Panthers for five seasons from 2016-17 until 2020-21. He played in 371 regular season games with Florida. Yandle helped the team reach the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2020 and 2021.
