Palm Beach Central Tops Marjory Stoneman Douglas

     The Palm Beach Central Broncos stopped the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Eagles 55-23 in a FHSAA Class 4M regional semifinal game on Friday night at Broncos Stadium. The Broncos will remain home and face either the Monarch Knights or the Palm Beach Gardens Gators in a regional final next week.

     Marjory Stoneman Douglas(8-4), who upset the Santaluces Chiefs last week, had a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter. Palm Beach Central(11-1) leaped over them and led 20-17 at halftime. The Broncos found the end zone three times in the third quarter and were up 41-20 heading into the fourth.
