Florida Panthers Engraved On Stanley Cup

     The Florida Panthers captured their first Stanley Cup in franchise history in Sunrise on Monday night when they defeated the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 of the best-of-seven series. The club will have their name and personnel engraved onto the Stanley Cup next week. 
     The Florida Panthers team will remain on the replica Stanley Cup that is showcased throughout the world for the next 59 years. The original Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall Of Fame in Toronto will always have the club's name on it. The National Hockey League states that there can be a maximum 52 people from the organization placed on the Stanley Cup. 
     Vincent Viola and Doug Cifu, owner of the Florida Panthers, will be the first names engraved on the Stanley Cup underneath the Florida Panthers name and 2023-24 season. Upper management consisting of president Matthew Caldwell will be next. Hockey operations personnel will follow that includes general manager Bill Zito, special advisor Roberto Luongo, head coach Paul Maurice, coaching staff, scouting department, analytics department, player personnel department, athletic training staff, equipment staff, conditioning staff, video staff and others.  
     Florida Panthers players on the roster will conclude what will be engraved. It will start with Aleksander Barkov along with name captain. Other player names will be Aaron Ekblad, Matthew Tkachuk, Sergei Bobrovsky, Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart, Carter Verhaeghe, Eetu Luostarinen, Anton Lundell, Evan Rodrigues, Gustav Forsling, Brandon Montour, Dmitry Kulikov, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Niko Mikkola, Kevin Stenlund, Vladimir Tarasenko, Kyle Okposo, Steven Lorentz, Ryan Lomberg, Nick Cousins, Anthony Stolarz, Josh Mahura and Jonah Gadjovich.
