Vincent Viola & Doug Cifu Receive Stanley Cup

Florida Panthers owner/chairman/governor Vincent Viola and vice chairman/partner/alternate governor Doug Cifu received the Stanley Cup on Monday night in Sunrise. The Panthers knocked off the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.
Viola and Cifu bought the team back in September 2013. The Panthers have won a Stanley Cup, two Eastern Conference titles, three Atlantic Division crowns, one Presidents' Trophy and made six postseason appearances during their 11-season tenure. Florida changed their logo and design of their uniforms prior to the 2016-17 campaign.
They are the fourth ownership in franchise history to own the club. Previous Panthers owners over the past 30 NHL seasons include H. Wayne Huizenga, Alan Cohen and Cliff Viner.
