The Miami Heat bounced back with a 91-88 win over the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena on Friday night. It was the second game of a home-and-home series between both clubs.
Miami(7-8) blasted out to a 26-17 lead after one quarter. The Heat kept the momentum for the remainder of the first half and were up 50-29 at halftime. Washington(9-6) would control the second half as they cut the margin down to 66-57 after three quarters. The Wizards outscored Miami in the fourth, however they fell short by three points.
The Heat was led by Hassan Whiteside who had a game-high 22 points and 16 rebounds. Dion Waiters dropped 13 points and James Johnson had 20 points. Bradley Beal compiled a double-double for the Wizards with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
