The Olympic Heights Lions go on the road and face the Santaluces Chiefs on Thursday night. It is the first Palm Beach County game for the final week of the regular season.
Olympic Heights(2-7) have lost five straight games. The Lions, who played in the first game to begin the 2019 campaign in Palm Beach County, will be led on offense by quarterback Blake Moreland. Wide receivers K'amerron Joseph, Juan Gonzalez, Christian Ippolito and Nicolas Palmenteri look to make pass receptions down the field. Running back Trotsky Horton will get most of the carries.
Santaluces(6-2) clinched the District 11 title in Class 8A at home last week when they defeated Park Vista 22-17. The Chiefs are undefeated at home this year and have won six of their last seven contests. Quarterback Kobe Lewis will give the ball to running back Val Carnegie on most rushing attempts. Their other running backs Eric Wallace and Brian Coe Jr. can also get an occasional carry.
