The Miami Heat handled the Chicago Bulls 116-108 at United Center on Friday night. The Heat play on Saturday in Philadelphia. Miami have won five straight contests.
The Heat had the advantage during the first half as they were ahead 34-16 after one quarter. Miami(11-3) continued their momentum and led 67-43 at halftime. Chicago(5-11) gained some ground and were down 85-67 after three quarters and outscored the Heat by 10 points in the final quarter.
Jimmy Butler led the Heat with a game-high 27 points and seven assists. Bam Adebayo contributed a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Kendrick Nunn added 21 points and Goran Dragic poured in 16 points. Zach LaVine put up 15 points for the Bulls.
