Caleb Martin Leaving Miami Heat

     Miami Heat forward Celeb Martin did not exercise his player option worth $7.13 million with the team prior to the free agency period on Sunday. He is expected to become an unrestricted free agent and sign elsewhere for a larger contract. 

     Martin played the last three seasons with the Heat. He captured an Eastern Conference title with the organization in 2022-23. Martin had career-highs of 10.0 points per game and 2.2 assists per game last season with the club.
