Shayne Gostisbehere Returning To Carolina

Shayne Gostisbehere will be returning to the Carolina Hurricanes for a second stint with that club as a defenseman signing a three-year deal at $9.6 million. He played last season with the Detroit Red Wings and had 56 points in 81 games.
Gostisbehere, who played with the Florida Panthers Junior team along with Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School for a couple of years, entered the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers and stayed there for seven seasons. He followed that with almost two complete seasons with the Arizona Coyotes. Gostisbehere was traded to the Hurricanes and compiled 10 points in 23 contests.
