The Washington Capitals have added center Henrik Borgstrom to their roster. He signed a one-year, two-way contract that will pay him $750,000 on the National Hockey League level. Borgstrom was designated as a restricted free agent and was not re-signed by the Chicago Blackhawks earlier this week.
Borgstrom played three seasons with the Florida Panthers from 2017-18 to 2019-20 and compiled 19 points in 58 games. He was traded by the Panthers to the Blackhawks in April 2021.
