Craig Minervini will fill in for Randy Moller as the radio play-by-play announcer for the game between the Florida Panthers and Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night. He was the Panthers studio host on Fox Sports Florida from September 2003 until April 2012.
Minervini had been used as a backup radio play-by-play announcer by the Panthers from 2004 to 2007 when Dave Strader had to work a nationally televised game on Versus or NBC. He last announced an NHL game for the New York Islanders back in January 2010 on MSG Plus when he replaced Howie Rose.
