The Milwaukee Brewers completed a four-game sweep with a 4-2 victory over the Miami Marlins on Sunday at Miller Park. The Marlins have lost seven of their last eight games and 14 of their last 17.
Miami(5-16) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Justin Bour knocked in J.T. Realmuto with a double into deep right field.
Former Marlin Christian Yelich helped Milwaukee(14-9) take the lead in the fourth inning. He smashed a two-run homer to center field on a 2-1 pitch. Lorenzo Cain was able to score in front of him.
The Brewers made it 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh. Travis Shaw scored on a fielding error by Bour.
The Marlins cut the deficit to 3-2 in the top of the eighth inning. Bour singled to right field which scored Realmuto.
Milwaukee answered back in the bottom of the eighth. Jesus Aguilar drove in Cain with a base hit into left field.
