Beasley Media Group announced this morning in their quarterly earnings call that they have sold their entire Fort Myers cluster of radio stations to two different owners. ESPN Southwest Florida 770 WBCN-AM along with its two FM translators 98.1 W251AL and 104.3 W283BY will eventually belong to Fort Myers Broadcasting Company.
The sports talk format has been on the 770 AM frequency since May 2021. It is unknown if the new owner will keep the format.
